The Wonder Box (Small)

The Wonder Box by Moving Stories (Small) can be used for single or pair play in the sand.  Both the lid and the bottom box can serve as sand trays.  Just add sand!  Basic cut-outs such as animal, people, nature and houses are included. It also contains helpful tools such as a brush (to move sand), play dough (to make things stick), and a hanger for objects to place over the sandtray such as a bird or sun.

The kit includes a starter set of Create and Wonder Sand Play cards that provide ideas for ways to engage in playfully deep creating and listening.  The trays might be used for making calming sand designs, telling stories, resolving conflict or to creatively and deeply listen. Playing the Create and Wonder Sand Play enhances listening skills in a fun way and enhances relationships. Therapists may encourage clients to use the kits to support therapeutic goals such as relationship enhancement through play and creative listening skills.
